Thanks to the steadfast encouragement of so many beautiful people along my path, not least my husband Robert, I am so grateful to be growing into the creative life and my identity as an artist. My courage comes from the heartfelt appreciation of those who have been so moved by an image I've been able to create of a loved one, or of a moment in a cherished relationship. Portraiture is a privilege; it is a true gift to spend time with the intimate details of someone's face and to capture the beautiful subtlety of an affectionate gesture or posture. My goal is always to reflect the true blessing of relationship and to bring to mind treasured memories.
